Taking place on November 3rd, 2018, the Georgia Gravel Grinduro, aka the 3G, was a new event for 2018, set in the Appalachian mountains of Georgia. When people think of Georgia, they usually associate the state with peaches and Atlanta, a former host to the Olympic games in 1996. But mountains? Starting and finishing in Helen, Georgia, a town replicating a Bavarian alpine town but in the Appalachian mountains, over 100 riders took on the challenge of the Grinduro (108-miles), the Radical (62-miles) and the Scramble (28-miles).
