Gearing Suggestions: There are plenty of hills and mountains in the area so we would recommend at least a 39×27 or even a compact crank to be comfortable on these climbs.

Clothing Suggestions: Even though its warm in many parts of the county by August the mountains can still be chilly at times so plan to take arm warmers, knee warmers, vest, gloves and maybe even light jackets. Since there will always be a follow vehicle(sag) you can discard clothing as it gets warmer.
